Solution structure of a SSIS project: –
- The solution structure is as follows, in a solution there is a project and inside a project there are dtsx files and parameters.
- Now a solution can contain many projects and a project can contain many dtsx files.

What is Difference between Project deployment & Package deployment?
Project Deployment:
- In project deployment the whole project can be deployed in one go.
- This deployment method has been introduced from 2012 and is the most preferred way of deploying the SSIS project.
- By this deployment method we can deploy the project in our SQL Server, MSDB, File System.
Package Deployment:
- In Package deployment the packages which are present in a project can be deployed individually.
- This deployment method was active till 2008. It was mainly used when after the deployment of project was done there were some packages which were modified later and they had to be deployed, so individual packages were deployed.
- By this deployment method we can deploy packages only and only in MSDB & File System. We cannot deploy the packages in our SQL Server.
